In Outlook, you can directly create a follow-up activity from a tracked email in Engage. These activities include phone calls, appointments, and tasks that can be tracked to the related relationship record.

To learn more about the App for Outlook and email tracking, see this article. You must have the Dynamics 365 App installed in Outlook. Contact your System Administrator if you do not see the App.

Here, we're going to walk you through creating a follow-task based on an email received from a client.

1. After you track an email, within the Dynamics 365 Add-in click More Commands

2. From More Commands, choose +Add Activity

3. Click Add Task

4. Fill out the Columns with the needed information

5. Click Save and Close

Now the Task is created and linked to the related Relationship in Engage. This is also visible on the Activities Plus timeline.
