Edit the Number of Rows in a Subgrid
print icon

When customizing a form or page layout in Engage, System Administrators can add different components to the form including grids. Grids present data in a table format and can take up the entire form. A subgrid is a table that is one of the components within a form and only takes up a section of the page layout. An example of subgrids on a form can be seen on the Relationship entity under the Contacts tab. There are two subgrids, one for Relationship Members and one for Connections. These subgrids show the data in a table format and System Administrators can determine the number of rows visible in the table.

Edit the Number of Rows in a Subgrid

Follow the instructions below to edit the number of visible rows in a subgrid.

1. Login to PowerApps as a System Administrator

2. Select the environment you want to edit

3. Select a Solution to edit or create a new solution

4. From the Solution, select or add the entity you want to edit. In this example, we will select the Relationship entity

5. Select Forms and select the Form you want to edit

6. On the Form, select the tab that houses the subgrid you want to edit. In this example, we will select the Contacts tab

7. Click on the subgrid and from the Properties column on the right, enter the Maximum number of rows. This is the number of rows you want to show in the subgrid. You can also select the option to Use available space on the form

8. Select Save & Publish

In this example, the subgrid Maximum number of rows setting would increase the maximum number of rows visible on the table from six to eight.
