Schwab

Enhancement

Schwab is introducing new APIs that will offer more features in the future. Data Broker is ensuring that the existing Schwab integration features are moved to the new APIs so that all existing Data Broker features will continue to work on the newer, updated system. Schwab Real-Time Controls and Persistent Data functionality will not change with this release.

However, the switch to the new APIs is such a significant update that Salentica has chosen to build a new integration with Schwab rather than update the old one. Clients will need to take steps to start using the new APIs. The legacy APIs will continue to work for now, but no new updates or fixes will be made. Schwab plans to sunset these old APIs completely in April 2025.

Action Needed

Our Support team will assist you with switching to the new API system.  There will be new Terms and Conditions to accept.  You must manually choose the option in Data Broker Configuration settings to start using the new APIs.

Fix

Update resolved an issue with the Salentica hyperlink within Schwab Real-Time Controls. The link now directs to Salentica's Help Center to learn about the Schwab integration.

MoneyGuidePro

For firms with only a MoneyGuidePro integration enabled, an External ID was previously required for security and asset classes. This is no longer required.
