FAQ: Date Inconsistencies upon Saving Records

When saving Date/Time fields in Engage, these records are saved in the database as Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), and the default time is set to midnight. When records are opened, these dates and times are converted according to your Personal Settings. If people at your firm are reporting issues where birthdays or any other date field are displaying a day behind, or a different time than expected, please ensure they have the correct Time Zone.

To check their settings, the affected users will need to log into the CRM and follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Gear icon > select Personalization Settings

  2. Ensure the Time Zone is correct
