print icon

Schwab is introducing new APIs, which will affect connectivity with the Salentica Data Broker. Firms must take steps to ensure the integration remains intact to maintain the current functionality. The legacy APIs will continue to work for now, but will no longer be available as of April 30th, 2025.

Action Needed

Before April 30, 2025

To proactively switch to the new API connections, please have your firm’s Designated Support Contact create a ticket, and the Support team will assist you with switching to the new API connection. There will be new Terms and Conditions to accept, and administrator credentials must be re-entered.

Users will also need to reauthenticate using their Schwab credentials when trying to access the Schwab Real-Time controls for the first time.

After April 30, 2025

The switch to the new APIs will automatically occur on the Schwab system, and connectivity to the old APIs will be automatically disconnected.

Your firm’s Schwab Administrator will need to navigate to the Salentica Data Broker configurations screen, click on “Initiate Schwab OAuth Integration” and re-enter the administrator's credentials.

Users will also need to reauthenticate using their Schwab credentials when trying to access the Schwab Real-Time controls for the first time.

If you require assistance, please have your Designated Support Contact create a ticket and our Support team will be happy to help you.
