In Engage, the Audit History allows you to view changes made to records over time. Audit History on records can help provide a historical data log, troubleshoot issues, and improve data quality. Audit History logs are valuable for managing and effectively securing data.

System Administrators must first enable auditing for an Entity to view the record’s Audit History. By default, Auditing is started on a lot of entities, including: Relationship, ContactLeadPortfolio, Financial Accounts, Product, Task, User, etc. To learn how to enable Auditing, check out this article

View Audit History of a Record

To view the Audit History follow these instructions.

From Contacts, click the Full Name of a Contact to open the record. Click on the Related Tab and select Audit History.

Here, you can view that specific record's Audit History. This can take a few seconds to load.

Each entry in the log provides details about the changes made, including:

  • Changed Date: Date and time the change was made.
  • Changed By: Who made the change.
  • Event: The type of change performed (Create, Update, Delete, etc.).
  • Details: Specific fields that were changed, along with the old and new values.

You can filter and sort the audit entries to find specific changes. Following these steps, you can effectively review and track changes to Engage records.
