Percent Complete Field Locked When Checklist Present
If a checklist is associated with a Task in a Workflow, the Percent Complete field will be locked. A lock icon will show next to the field name to indicate the field is locked for editing. This field will be calculated based on the percentage of the checklist that has been marked complete. If there is not a checklist on the Workflow Task, the field will remain unlocked and editable.
Associated Data Sub Grid Now an Editable Grid
Another great improvement for Workflow Manager is that the Associated Data Sub Grid now allows inline editing, enhancing efficiency and the user experience. Data Entry is now more streamlined and efficient in Workflow Manager. Instead of clicking Edit and going to a different screen, simply click on the field you want to edit and begin typing. Then select the associated record or enter your text and Save.
Form and User Interface Enhancements
Appropriate Phone Number Formatting on Contact Quick Create Forms
Previously when a user entered a Business Phone Number on the Quick Create: Contact form, the telephone number formatting was not applied. Now, the formatting will match the pre-existing telephone number formatting.
Refined Company Entity Tabs
We've made a significant update to improve user experience and data organization on the Company entity. The tab previously labeled Employment History under the Company entity has been renamed to Related Contacts (Employment Histories). Now, users can view and manage employment histories in the context of their related Contacts, providing a more holistic view of their company’s relationships. This enhancement will streamline operations and improve efficiency in managing Company data.
Company Lookup Field Available on Lead Form
Previously, an Institutional type Lead could not be associated with the related Company record in the Pipeline. This enhancement allows users to associate a Lead with a Company record from the creation of the Lead record. This enhancement streamlines the user experience for lead management. Upon qualification of the Lead, the Opportunity will automatically be associated with the correct company, reducing manual intervention needed from the user.
Upon qualification of the Lead with an associated Company record, the newly created Opportunity record is linked to the Company.
