Data Broker Browser Settings for Engage

Specific internet browser settings are required for Data Broker to function correctly. Follow the instructions below to ensure your browser settings are correct for your chosen browser. We recommend using Chrome as the preferred browser. 

 

Google Chrome Settings

Allow Cookies

Add Pop-Up Exceptions

Add Trusted Sites

 

Allow Cookies

1. Open an instance of Chrome and click Customize and control Google Chrome.

2. Click Settings.

3. In the search bar, type cookies

4. Click Cookies and other site data.

5. Click Allow all cookies.

Add Pop-Up Exceptions

1. Under Settings, in the search bar type pop.

2. Click Site Settings.

3. Click Pop-ups and redirects

4. Click the radio button next to Sites can send pop-ups and use redirects.

5. Under Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects, click Add

6. Type [*.]salenticalive.com, click Add

7. Under Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects, click Add

8. Type your Salentica CRM URL and click Add.

9. Restart all instances of the browser for the setting changes to apply.

Add Trusted Sites

Note: For the last step you will use Internet Options settings but they will transfer to Google Chrome. 

1. Use the Search Bar on the toolbar to search for the Control Panel.

2. Click the Control Panel.

3. Click the Internet Options icon.

4. Select the Security tab.

5. Click the Trusted Sites icon and click the Sites button. 

6. Type microsoftonline.com in the Add this website to the zone field.

7. Click Add

8. Type your Salentica CRM URL in the Add this website to the zone field.

9. Click Add

10. Click Close

11. Click Ok.

12. Restart all instances of the browser for the setting changes to apply.


Microsoft Edge Settings

Allow Cookies and Add Allowed Site

Add Trusted Sites

 

Allow Cookies and Add Allowed Site

1. Open an instance of Microsoft Edge.

2. In Edge, select the Settings and More (...) and click Settings.

3. Click Cookies and site permissions.

4. Click Manage and delete cookies and site data

5. Toggle on Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended).

6. Toggle off Block third-party cookies.

7. Toggle on Preload pages for faster browsing and searching.

Add Pop-Up Exceptions

1. Under Settings, click Cookies and site permissions.

2. Scroll down and click Pop-ups and redirects.

3. Under Allow, click Add

4. Type [*.]salenticalive.com. and click Add. 

5. Click Add. Type in your Salentica CRM URL. Click Add.

Add Trusted Sites

1. Use the Search Bar on the toolbar to search for the Control Panel.

2. Click the Control Panel.

3. Click the Internet Options icon.

4. Select the Security tab.

5. Click the Trusted Sites icon and click the Sites button. 

6. Type microsoftonline.com in the Add this website to the zone field.

7. Click Add

8. Type your Salentica CRM URL in the Add this website to the zone field.

9. Click Add

10. Click Close

11. Click Ok.

12. Restart all instances of the browser for the setting changes to apply.

Allow Cookies

1. Open an instance of Internet Explorer.

2. Click the gear icon and then click Internet Options.

3. Click the Privacy tab and click the Advanced button.

4. Click Accept First-party Cookies and Accept Third-party Cookies.

5. Check the box to Always allow session cookies. Click Ok.

 

 

Add Trusted Sites

1. Under Internet Options, select the Security tab.

2. Click Trusted Sites and click the Sites button. 

3. In the Add this website to the zone: box type microsoftonline.com. Click Add.

4. In the Add this website to the zone: box type your Salentica CRM URL. Click Add.

5. Click Close. Click Ok.

Add Pop-Up Exceptions

1. Under Internet Options, click the Privacy tab. 

2. Click the Settings button.

3. In the Address of website to allow: type *.salenticalive.com. Click Add.

4. In the Address of website to allow: type your Salentica CRM URL. Click Add.

5. Click Close. Click Ok.

6. Restart all instances of the browser for the setting changes to apply.
