How to Review Data Broker Logs on Engage

Someone from your firm should be responsible for a daily check of the Data Broker logs to ensure the accuracy of the financial information being integrated into Engage. This person must be assigned a System Administrator Role. Someone with a Salentica Standard Role does not have the needed access to review this information. 

Data Broker Setup 

To review the integration between Data Broker and Engage, you will need to access the Data Broker Setup in Salentica Engage.

 

Steps to Access Data Broker Setup

 

1. Click on the gear icon (top right) and click Advanced Settings.

 

2. Navigate to Settings>Customizations>Solutions

 

3. Click on Salentica Skyline.

 

Steps to Check Data Broker Daily Sync

 

1. Select Data Mappings to access the log files. 

 

2. Select Data Integration Log to see the log file information.

In the top section of the log, you will see two entries: Bulk Update CRM and Request Batched Data

  • Bulk Update the CRM: the sync between the file from Data Broker and the Financial Platform
  • Request Batched Data: the connection between Data Broker and Engage

The section of the log pertaining to Bulk Update CRM will show you if your daily sync completed with or without errors/warning. You will need to troubleshoot each log entry that does not show a status of Completed Successfully. There is a section at the bottom of the log that will show more detail about the error/warning entry.
