Sample data gives you something to experiment with as you learn Engage and helps you see how data is organized in the system. Sample Data is used to learn and play around with the system, particularly in a Sandbox environment. At some point, you may want to remove the sample data.

There are two ways to Add or Remove Sample Data, from the Power Platform Admin Center or within Engage.

Add/Remove Sample Data via the Power Platform Admin Center

1. Be sure you have the System Administrator security role or equivalent permissions.

2. Sign into the Power Platform Admin Center at https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/.

3. Select Environments in the left navigation pane, select your environment and then select Settings on the top menu bar.

4. Select Data management to expand the category, then select Sample data.

5. A message appears that tells you whether the sample data is installed.

6. Select an action at the bottom of the screen. Either Install or Remove Sample Data:

a. Remove Sample Data, and then select Close.

b. Install Sample Data, and then select Close.

c. To close the screen without making changes, just select Close.
